Vocalist Lucy Wijnands has been a fixture on the NYC jazz scene from a very young age. She's a regular at jazz clubs throughout the city and has toured all over the world. Winner of the prestigious Ella Fitzgerald competition and the recipient of a President's Award for music, She's also sang in a 16-week residency with the world-famous Birdland Big Band. Lucy is well known to spellbind audiences with a delivery that is at once sly and soulful, playful and wise. In addition to singing, she is equally passionate about the visual arts, and is a highly accomplished painter. Her original artwork will be on display for sale the night of the concert.Joining her will be Dan Nicholas on guitar, Chris van Voorst, bass and Aaron Seeber, drums.
