• Rates include a light continental breakfast daily.

• 9% Maine Meals and Lodging Tax will be applied to all rates.

• Your room will be ready for your arrival at 3:00 pm. Check out time is 11:00 am. Please contact us in advance to request an early arrival or late departure time.

* Please note that all of our guest rooms and suites are on the second floor, and are accessed via a flight of stairs from the Foyer. Suite 2 and Turret Room 3 are the only rooms permitted to have more than 2 guests, and requires advance notice as well as an additional fee per night.

• Our restaurant is open Wednesday - Sunday evenings: the bar/drinks begin at 4pm, and dining room/kitchen at 5pm. Kitchen prep occurs during the day, and the buzz of the restaurant hums on through the evening. In this historic old house, sound carries and we will do our best to help your stay be a comfortable one.

• Smoking is allowed outside only, in designated areas.

• Although our own furry friend might be here to greet you upon arrival, we regret that we are unable to accommodate pets, unless ADA-certified and trained to perform tasks for people with disabilities, in our hotel and guest rooms. If an animal is discovered in your room, you are subject to a fine of $300 for deep-cleaning. We are happy to recommend a nearby pet-boarding service. Please contact us for further information.


A reservation is confirmed when a deposit is received. A deposit equal to one night, or 1/3 of your stay, whichever is greater, is required. Deposits may be made through Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover, or personal check. The remaining balance due will be charged upon arrival.

You may cancel your reservation and receive a refund of your deposit, less a $25 processing fee, up to one week prior to your reservation. Deposits are non-refundable if a cancellation is made within seven days of the scheduled arrival date. If you cancel the day-of your reservation, or depart before your scheduled departure date, you will be charged for the time reserved, unless the space is subsequently filled by another guest.

We understand that things happen that may affect your reservation and travel plans. Although we wish we could, we can’t predict illness, the weather, or what the airlines are going to do. No refunds are given for sickness, cancelled flights, harsh or rugged weather of any kind, including thunderstorms, hurricanes, snow, and Nor’easters.
