Barncastle Hotel
Barncastle Hotel & Restaurant is an 1884 Victorian-style home in the coastal town of Blue Hill, Maine. Located conveniently between Camden and Bar Harbor, it is a perfect home base for exploring seaside villages or day-tripped to Acadia National Park.
The hotel features five guest rooms and suites, each with a king-size bed and private bath. Other amenities include an in-room coffee maker and refrigerator, smart TV and complimentary wifi.
A light continental breakfast is provided at 8am daily.
The restaurant, open Wednesday-Sunday evening, boasts a beautiful fireplace and seasonal outdoor dining, with scratch cooking utilizing a wood-fired oven. There is a cozy pub, featuring a rotating line-up of local craft beers, classic cocktails, and a wine list focusing on small producers primarily out of France, Germany, and Austria.

Room 1: Room One reveals the remaining original structure of the 1830s cape, around which Barncastle was built. It features a king size bed, Smart TV, free wi-fi and coffee maker. The private bath, with glass shower, is equipped with hairdryer and iron.
Suite 2: Suite 2 is comprised of two rooms separated by an entry hall. The bedroom has a king size bed with oval window and tin ceiling. The sitting room has a Smart TV, mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The bathroom has a tiled shower with seat.
Room 3 “The Turret”: Room 3 was the original master bedroom at Barncastle, with a high tin ceiling, bay windows, a wood burning fireplace, and a king size sleigh bed. It features a sitting area with a full size sofa bed, Smart TV, mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker and a private bath with a deep tub.
*Rooms 3 and 4 can be joined to accommodate families and larger groups.
Room 4: Room 4 is spacious and thoughtfully appointed, featuring a king size bed. Amenities include a Smart TV, wireless internet access and coffee maker. All rooms have private baths with tiled showers.

Suite 5: Suite 5 features the oldest bath tub in Blue Hill and also also includes a tiled shower. Suite 5 has a sitting area, king size bed, and is located down its own hallway. Amenities include a Smart TV, wireless internet access, a microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker.

• Rates include a continental breakfast daily.
• 9% Maine Meals and Lodging Tax will be applied to all rates.
• Your room will be ready for your arrival at 3:00 pm. Check out time is 11:00 am. Please contact us in advance to request an early arrival or late departure time.
* Please note that all of our guest rooms and suites are on the second floor, and are accessed via a flight of stairs from the Foyer.
• Smoking is allowed outside only, in designated areas.
• Although our own furry friend might be here to greet you upon arrival, we regret that we are unable to accommodate pets or service animals in our hotel and guest rooms. We are happy to recommend a nearby pet-boarding service. Please contact us for further information.
A reservation is confirmed when a deposit is received. A deposit equal to one night, or 1/3 of your stay, whichever is greater, is required. Deposits may be made through Visa, Master Card, Discover, or personal check.
Deposits will be refunded, less a $25 processing fee, for cancellations made seven days in advance of your scheduled arrival date. Deposits are non-refundable if cancellation is made within seven days of the scheduled arrival date. Guests departing in advance of their scheduled departure date will be charged for the time reserved, unless the space is subsequently filled by another guest.
